sometimes words become superfluous. maria and o.j.'s wedding was one of those times. 

their wedding day was filled to the brim with authentic, real and unscripted moments that moved and connected both friends and family in a true celebration of love. 

i'm grateful for taking part in their day and i'm proud to share a few select moments of their celebration with you all.

viva las vegas | part one

back in march i went to las vegas to join a bunch of other talented photographers, models and artists. the result is something called the film show season two by the framed network - a show about analog photography but even more importantly: photography in general. the hosts are none other than ryan muirhead, tia reagan, tanja lippert, jan scholz and jonas peterson. quite an eclectic group of people...not to mention photographers.

the images in this post coincide with the second episode of the show, where a musician called hunter burgan (the bass player of the band afi) was there to oversee the creation of images showcasing new shirts from his brand 'post war science'.

the shirts were great, the models delivered and the styling by tia reagan was in line with hunter burgan's ideas. the location? a vacant lot in old vegas. coming from evergreen and pretty norway, this is a location that really inspires.

anyway - enough talk and on with the images. here's a humble collection of some of the images i made that day.

here's one frame from last weekend's wedding at the very beautiful drengsrud gård right outside downtown oslo. it truly was a beautiful wedding in spectacular surroundings and i can't wait to share more images with you all. 

for the photographers out there, this image was made with the new leica m and a summilux-m 50mm wide open.

i had the pleasure of documenting the wedding of marga (that's what her friends call her) and jostein's lovely wedding in oslo earlier this month. it was a day of true celebration as the two families were united. marga's family is of polish decent and a lot of traditional elements were incorporated into the celebration which made the day even more unique and special.

the ceremony was held in the the catholic cathedral, st. olavs domkirke, and despite the grand size of the building, the ceremony was both intimate and personal due to the warmth of the people present. 

the reception was held at bogstad gård, which is an old old country estate dating back to 1649. the manor was quite spectacular and it was a joy to be able to spend time exploring the grounds with the bride and groom.

for those of you interested in gear, most of the images in this post were shot with the new leica m and a summilux-m 50mm f/1.4. a pretty good combo, if i may say so.
