fall has arrived way too early here in norway and it's been raining cats & dogs all week.

i know i should get out there and make some photographs anyway, but my inspiration seems to have a thing for sunny days. it might even settle for overcast, but rain? meh.

that being said, the evil weather of norway must, from time to time, bow down to the sun - breaking through the clouds to shine upon us northern vikings.

and that's when i aim to be on the ready with my finger on the trigger, so to speak.

this picture was taken about a week or two ago and i've been meaning to post it but somehow something got my attention and i've procrastinated. i hope you like it. i decided to call it 'tree of life II'. it's a revisit to the 'tree of life' i shot last winter.
