sofie and alex got married ages ago. it was back in april and in this day and age, i guess i might have to excuse myself and say i'm posting these a bit late. however - i choose to paraphrase something gandalf the grey once said: some things arrive precisely when they mean to. smooth, eh?
the truth is, i'm a bit backlogged. this, of course, is a blessing of sorts. it means i have a lot to do. which is good. but enough about me. let's get on with the wedding.

it's all about the little things, right?
during the ceremony, i noticed this kid sitting by himself way back in the church. what was interesting was that he wasn't part of the wedding party - he was probably just a kid from the neighborhood that was curious and wanted to check out what was going on.
personally, i love this image for severeal reasons. first and foremost it's about how the light illuminates the top of his head. also, his kind of messy hair contrasts the old and orderly aesthetics of the church benches.

last saturday i had the pleasure of documenting the wedding of tone and rune here in oslo, norway. they got married in an old (1877) and beautiful church called sofienberg kirke. the church is located in the middle of downtown oslo in an area that used to be kind of rough, but is now sort of a hipster paradise. nevertheless, it's a place that means a lot to the couple and naturally we searched out a few of the bride and grooms secret spots which surely sent them swirling down memory lane.
there's much more coming from this wedding which, by the way, ended with a very rocknroll concert: the groom banging on the drums and the bride on background vocals. good times.
