i've always enjoyed hotel rooms although i'm not quite sure why. they're stereotypical, sort of neutral and very contemporary - qualities i don't necessarily appreciate in any other areas of my life. but - when it comes to hotel rooms, i like it...i'll even go as far as to say i dig hotel rooms.
earlier this year i went to paris, france for the first time and while i wasn't initially very impressed with the city, it sure grew on me. the atmosphere, the cuisine and the many, many great photographic opportunities there instantly makes me want to go back there and roam the small alleys and streets looking for moments to capture.
eye on oslo
an evening not too long ago, i met up with some new friends at a place in oslo called 'aker brygge'. it's sort of an upscale area down by the seaside of oslo.
if you're like me, you want your digital desktop to be at least semi-tidy but with a backdrop you can watch for hours on end...
among the few things i actually can watch for a long time without getting tired of it, is a clear sky with puffy, weird, sleek and elegant clouds dotted all over it. my thought being - why not make a wallpaper out of it?
i've exported my photograph in quite a few different sizes. i've used optimal resolution on the chosen apple products as my starting point. don't hold it against me. just click on the correct size for your product, right click on the picture to save it and you're good to go:
iphone 4 (960x640) in 300 dpi (works fine on the 3G/3GS as well as a bunch of other smartphones)

last weekend was spent at a pretty sweet resort in a place called 'son' here in norway. the resort was located down by the fjord and the light was so beautiful i just had to get out there and make some photographs.
i guess there's not much more to say other than that the place is highly recommendable and it definitely has the right vibe for a relaxing weekend. you can even sail in there with a boat, lose yourself for a few hours and then sail on - literally.
